Former Norwich City duo Chris Sutton and Darren Huckerby comment on Ipswich Town’s relegation from the Championship.

Former Norwich City striker Chris Sutton has taken to Twitter to give his reaction to Ipswich Town getting relegated to League One.

Ipswich have been relegated from the Championship following their 1-1 draw with Birmingham City at home in the league this afternoon.

The result means that the Tractor Boys are now at the foot of the league table with 28 points from 42 matches.

Ipswich cannot get enough points this season to get themselves out of the Championship relegation zone and will play in League One during the 2019-20 campaign.

Former Norwich striker Sutton has reacted on Twitter to Ipswich getting relegated to League One, and has suggested that it will be a while before they face the Canaries again in the East Anglian derby.

Norwich are at the top of the Championship table at the moment and are likely to win automatic promotion to the Premier League at the end often season.

Former Norwich star Darren Huckerby has also taken to Twitter to give his reaction to Ipswich going down.

Huckerby wrote on Twitter: “Didn’t want them to be relegated but Ipswich Town have been absolute Dog s***e they deserve to go down! Big building period ahead for them! #Ncfc.”
