Chris Kirkland worked with Simon Grayson, sacked by Sunderland, at Preston North End.

Former Liverpool and Sheffield Wednesday goalkeeper Chris Kirkland has taken to social networking site Twitter to give his reaction to Sunderland parting company with Simon Grayson.
Sunderland have dismissed Grayson as their manager after just 18 games in charge.
The Black Cats made the decision on Tuesday evening following the team’s 3-3 draw with Bolton Wanderers in the Championship.

The result means that Sunderland, who got relegated from the Premier League at the end of last season, are now third from bottom in the Championship table.
Grayson was appointed the Sunderland manager in the summer of 2017 following the departure of David Moyes.
Former Liverpool and Wednesday goalkeeper Kirkland worked with Grayson at Preston North End, and he has predicted that the ex-Leeds United boss will find a job soon.

Grayson is a very good manager, but it cannot be denied that Sunderland underperformed under him this season.
The Black Cats may not have great players, but they are certainly not as bad as to be fighting for survival in the Championship.
