Celtic defender Erik Sviatchenko is on the sidelines at the moment.

Sviatchenko has been on the sidelines since August with a knee ligament injury he picked up during the Champions League qualifier against Rosenborg.
“Erik has been out for a while,” Davies told The Scottish Sun. “He had his first injury, was back a short time then was out again.
“He needs to build up his fitness and sharpness having been out a long time. But he’s now back with the group every day.
“So it’ll possibly be after the break for Erik. The good thing is the international break gives him chance to build up his fitness and get some sessions in.
“He needs a strong week. Jozo is doing light rehab so he will be another few weeks. That bodes well and hopefully we can keep them fit.”

Positive news for Celtic
Celtic have struggled with injuries at the back, and the return to full fitness of Sviatchenko will certainly be welcomed by manager Brendan Rodgers and the fans.
Jozo Simunovic is out at the moment, while Dedryck Boyata has also had injury issues this season.

Sviatchenko may have not been exactly ‘great’ for the Hoops, but the 26-year-old centre-back is a good player who will be important for the Glasgow giants as the season progresses.
According to The Scottish Sun, Celtic paid FC Midtjylland a transfer fee of £1.5m in January 2016 in order to secure the services of the Denmark international defender.
Celtic are at the top of the Scottish Premiership table at the moment with 30 points from 12 matches, three points clear of second-placed Aberdeen.
