Celtic striker Moussa Dembele has been linked with Everton, Stoke City, Brighton and Hove Albion and Crystal Palace in the January transfer window.

According to The Scottish Sun, Everton, Stoke City, Brighton and Hove Albion and Crystal Palace all are interested in signing the French striker.
Davies has revealed that Dembele speaks to Celtic manager Brendan Rodgers regularly, and has suggested that the 21-year-old wants to leave Celtic Park this month.

“Moussa has not been unprofessional in his behaviour,” Davies told The Scottish Sun about Dembele. “He’s been slightly affected by what is going on around him and the speculation.
“Moussa talks to Brendan regularly. Time has gone on and there has been interest in him. There is also an acceptance that maybe Moussa feels it is the right time for him to move on.
“When a player feels that way then there is not an awful lot of point in stopping them — unless you really have to. So that’s kind of how it’s evolved.”

If Dembele wants to leave Celtic in the January transfer window, then it would make sense for the Hoops to let him go.
There is no point in Celtic keeping hold of a player who does not want to be there, and if the Glasgow giants can get a decent transfer fee, then it would be great for the club.
Davies’s comments about Dembele should be music to the ears of Everton, who should now make a move as it will be easier for them to prise away the youngster from the Hoops.
The Sun claimed earlier this month that Everton are interested in Dembele despite signing Cenk Tosun from Besiktas.
Given that Dembele wants to leave Celtic, the Toffees should be encouraged to make an offer for him.
