Sunderland are currently sat at the bottom of the Championship table.

Fletcher and Ejaria could be forgiven for wondering whether they would have been better off elsewhere, given Sunderland’s struggles so far this season.
However, Coleman feels that all of the players the have joined Sunderland on loan can benefit from their time at the Stadium of Light.
“I said to Ashley Fletcher and Ovie Ejaria, the experience they will get with us invaluable and they’ll be much better at the end of it,” the Welsh boss said.

There was hope that Sunderland’s January additions would provide a much needed boost for Coleman’s side, but they have failed to have the desired impact so far.
The Black Cats’ struggles have continued in to 2018, and they now sit at the bottom of the Championship table.

Ejaria has generally impressed when he has featured for Sunderland, but the jury is very much still out on Fletcher, who is yet to score a goal for the Wearsiders.
Sunderland are next in action at the weekend, when they take on Millwall, and they could move to within one point of safety, if they are able to pick up a victory.
