Ben Davies is ‘always postitive’ about Tottenham manager Mauricio Pochettino, according to Wales boss Chris Coleman.

Wales manager Chris Coleman has told BBC Sport’s Premier League Show that Ben Davies always speaks positively of Tottenham manager Mauricio Pochettino.
Davies, 23, was Pochettino’s first signing as Spurs boss back in the summer of 2014, as he joined the club from Swansea City to compete with Danny Rose at left back.

Since his arrival at White Hart Lane, Davies has made more than 50 appearances for Spurs, with he and Rose regularly giving Pochettino a selection headache on the left hand side of his defence.
Rose may be Tottenham’s first choice at left back, but Davies has continued to keep his place in Wales’ starting line-up in something of an unfamiliar role.

With manager Chris Coleman regularly using a 5-3-2 system, Davies plays as a left-sided centre back for his country, and that versatility is something that highly-rated boss Pochettino could consider taking advantage of in the near future.
Ahead of today’s game with West Bromwich Albion, Welsh boss Coleman has been speaking to BBC Sport’s Premier League Show about Pochettino, and hailed him as being a ‘very bright manager’.

Coleman added that Davies always speaks positively about Pochettino, and that’s notable given that he still thinks so highly of him despite not always being in Tottenham’s starting line-up.
“We’ve got the young player with us, Ben Davies, who obviously plays for Tottenham, and it’s alright when players say they like managers when they’re playing and winning, but it’s the ones who are not playing every week who are the acid test,” said Coleman. “Ben’s always positive about him, and I think he’s a very bright manager,” he added.
