Sunderland are expected to be active in the January transfer window, as Chris Coleman wants to add quality.

Chris Coleman has told the Sunderland Echo that he has already made a January wishlist, with potential loan targets already scouted.
Coleman knows the scale of his task at the Stadium of Light, as Sunderland battle against relegation from the Championship.
The Black Cats are currently in 23rd place in the Championship table, after winning just twice all season.
Coleman has guided Sunderland to one victory in his three games in charge, but a 3-1 defeat to Reading last weekend hammered home the deficiencies in his side’s starting line-up.

And Coleman now suggests that he is planning to make additions in the January transfer window, even though he has a limited budget.
The Welsh boss said: “I have lists of possible loans if we don’t get anybody out, and I have a list of possible loans or buys if we sell or if players leave us on loan.
“There are different scenarios for us to look at.”

Coleman has already stated how he does not have much money to invest at Sunderland, which means he will not be able to spend his way out of trouble.
Sunderland’s squad has looked short of quality so far, but there is a belief that Coleman can turn the Wearsiders’ fortunes around.
Sunderland are next in action tomorrow, when they take on top of the table Wolverhampton Wanderers at Molineux.
