Chris Coleman says Sunderland have a transfer deal in place.

Sunderland have earned a massive victory after beating relegation rivals Hull City 1-0 at the Stadium of Light in the Championship clash on Saturday.
Joel Asoro scored in the 20th minute of the match to seal all three points for the Black Cats.
Sunderland boss Chris Coleman has been saying for a while that he needs reinforcements in January, with the Black cats looking to bolster the strike department.

After the match, Coleman has confirmed that Sunderland have a transfer deal in place and that they are waiting on a decision from the player.
Although, he didn’t mention the name of the club, nor revealed the identity of player, but according to Sunderland Echo, the Black Cats have agreed terms on a loan deal with Derby County for Chris Martin.
There is a stiff competition for the 29-year-old and the Black Cats will have to convince the Scottish international to bring him at the Wearside club.

Coleman added that he is “super confident” that the deal will go through.
“We have got a deal with a club and we are waiting for an answer and a decision from a player,” said Coleman, as quoted by the Sunderland Echo.
“I can’t mention players or clubs but that is where we are. Until it is done I can’t say yes I am super confident until it is done. I have been out of the transfer market for a long time, six years.”
