Leeds United are taking Hastings United’s Adam Lovatt on trial next month.

Earlier this month, Hastings announced on their official website that Lovatt will be at Leeds on a five-day trial in December.
The 19-year-old midfielder has been playing well for Agutter’s side in the Isthmian League South East Division this season, and Championship outfit Leeds have been impressed.
Hastings boss Agutter has spoken highly of Lovatt, and has backed the talented and promising teenager to earn a deal at Leeds.
Agutter told The Bexhill-On-Sea Observer about Lovatt: “He doesn’t need any advice. He will go up there and be fine. He’s a great lad and he’s got a very good family around him.
“I wouldn’t be surprised if he does very well and becomes a Leeds United player. He’s done incredibly well and this is just the start for him to be honest.”
The Hastings boss added: “He’s ice cold, he’s not emotional at all. He won’t be flustered by it, he’ll go about his business and hopefully he’s successful.”

First-team at Leeds United?
Lovatt has a lot of potential, but one suspects that for now, Leeds are looking at him as a player for their youth team.
If the midfielder does earn a contract with the West Yorkshire outfit, then perhaps in the coming months and years he will be promoted to the Championship club’s first team.
Leeds are second in the Championship table at the moment with 36 points from 19 matches, just a point behind leaders Norwich City.
