Tottenham Hotspur striker Harry Kane was sent out on loan earlier in his career, like Tammy Abraham.
Abraham is attempting to make a name for himself, and is currently out on loan at Swansea City.
The 20-year-old is trying to ensure that Chelsea sending out on a temporary move does not dent his confidence, as he has seen the path of Kane’s career.
Tottenham sent Kane out on loan moves at the likes of Leyton Orient, Millwall and Leicester City while he was a youngster.
And Abraham admits that Kane’s career at Spurs is one which he takes inspiration from.
“Harry is a player I’ve always looked up to and one of the greatest strikers so I obviously follow his past,” Abraham said.
“What he’s been through gives me confidence that there is a light at the end of every tunnel.”
Abraham has struggled for appearances at Swansea over recent times, but he netted a brace in midweek, against Notts County.
Kane, meanwhile, just continues to go from strength to strength at Spurs.
Kane scored his 100th Premier League goal in Tottenham’s most recent fixture with Liverpool, and is all set to start against Arsenal at the weekend.
