This weekend sees Chelsea host Liverpool in what has often been a feisty game over the years.

This season sees both sides struggling for their best form, with Jose Mourinho firmly under pressure at Stamford Bridge, and Brendan Rodgers having already been replaced by Jurgen Klopp at Anfield.

Key players in both sides are Eden Hazard and Philippe Coutinho, with the attacking midfielders often the focal point of their team’s attacking play.

He also comes out on top when it comes to dribbling, with him enjoying more contests per game, and also winning more contests per game than the Brazilian.

It’s not all bad news for Coutinho, though, as he comes out on top when it comes to total scoring attempts and on target scoring attempts.

A big win for the Chelsea star then, who despite his struggles, has so far enjoyed a better season that Coutinho, if these stats are to be believed.

Who comes out on top when they go head-to-head on Saturday is sure to be pivotal to which side will leave with all three points.
