The Chelsea youngster could be a useful addition to the Aston Villa squad.

Steve Bruce, Manager of Aston Villa looks on during the Sky Bet Championship match between Fulham and Aston Villa at Craven Cottage on April 17, 2017 in London, England.

The Villans have made a mixed start to their 2017/18 Championship campaign, and currently sit in seventh position in the table, seven points adrift of league leaders Wolverhampton Wanderers.

Steve Bruce hasn’t enjoyed the kind of success that was expected of him following his appointment as manager at Villa Park in October 2016, and many Villa fans are growing increasingly frustrated at their side’s lack of progress.

The west Midlands outfit will surely be looking to strengthen their options in January, in an attempt to force their way into contention for an automatic promotion place.

One particular area where Bruce will want to bolster is his attacking department, with more competition required for the likes of Robert Snodgrass and Albert Adomah.

And with this in mind, Villa should consider signing Chelsea youngster Charly Musonda on loan in January.

The talented 21-year-old can play anywhere along the front-line, and he possesses impeccable technique and composure when in possession of the football.

He has pace in abundance, and the direct manner in which he operates would certainly help Villa improve upon the potency of their attacking play.

A loan spell at Villa Park would not only benefit Bruce’s side, but it would also be of great use to both Chelsea and Musonda himself.

And with the January transfer window just around the corner, Villa should not hesitate to make a loan approach for the talented youngster.
