The Blues’ Under-18 squad moved top of the Under-18 Premier League after a one-sided ten-goal victory.

Dominic Solanke scored twice and registered two assists as Chelsea Under-18s demolished their Aston Villa counterparts on Saturday morning.

The young Blues eventually ran out 12-2 winners after a goal glut at their Cobham training ground, with Solanke bagging a quick-fire double, as well as helping his team-mates get on the scoresheet.

Jeremie Boga and Miro Muheim both netted hat-tricks for Chelsea and the visiting Villans didn’t know what had hit them by full-time.

Young Mukhtar Ali came off injured for the Blues, though, and the club will hope his problem is not too serious.

But it was all good news as far as 17-year-old Solanke was concerned, who took to Twitter after the game to celebrate another fine performance:

The staggering scoreline leaves Chelsea’s Under-18s top of the South Group of the Under-18 Premier League table.

The Blues have 16 points after seven games (five wins, one draw, one loss) and are a point above second-placed West Ham United.

Arsenal are third, a further point behind, while Brighton are fourth on 12 points.
