Thomas Tuchel’s Chelsea will make a second bid for Tottenham Hotspur target and Manchester City attacking midfielder Raheem Sterling, according to Fabrizio Romano on Twitter.
The well-known and well-respected journalist has reported that Chelsea have had an initial approach for Sterling, who can also operate as a winger, turned down.
The former UEFA Champions League winners will make a new bid soon for Sterling, with Premier League champions City open to selling the former Liverpool star for €55/60 million (£47.29/£51.59 million).
Earlier this month, The Mirror reported that Tottenham are interested in Sterling, who is on £300,000-a-week star (Spotrac).
New Chelsea bid for Tottenham target Raheem Sterling

In our view, Chelsea are a more appealing club than Tottenham Hotspur for Manchester City star Raheem Sterling.
Sterling is used to winning Premier League titles and competing in the Champions League with City.
Chelsea also win major trophies regularly, and, like City, they are a rich club.
Now, Tottenham are a big club as well, but they are not in a position yet to compete for the Premier League title despite having Antonio Conte as their manager.
Moreover, Chelsea can and do pay big wages, and the Blues should be able to match Sterling’s £300,000-a-week salary (Spotrac) easily.
