Chelsea face Manchester City in a crucial Premier League clash on Wednesday night at Stamford Bridge.

To be played on Wednesday 5th April 2017 at 20:00. Venue: Stamford Bridge, London

Odds: Chelsea 13/10, Draw 12/5, Man City 21/10

After Chelsea suffered a shock 2-1 defeat at the weekend against Crystal Palace – their first defeat in eight Premier League games – this has become an important game in the title race.

A defeat here will put the home side under unnecessary pressure, and the gap at the top could be closed down to four points should Tottenham win their respective game.

Victor Moses missed out with a calf injury in the last match against Palace, and he is unlikely to revover in time to face the Citizens.

Antonio Conte has some important decisions to make. Pedro is likely to fill the wing back role in absence of Moses in Conte’s 3-4-3 system. Cesc Fabregas could start in place of Nemanja Matic, as Conte may look for creativity in the middle of the park.

Manchester City are undefeated in their last five Premier League games, but three consecutive draws have taken them to fourth in the league. Another disappointing result for City will end all hopes of catching up with the Blues.

Pablo Zabaleta is available but Pep Guardiola may continue with Jesus Navas at right-back. Vincent Kompany is also back available. However, Bacary Sagna is likely to miss out once more.

Guardiola may go with 3-4-3 as well, with Navas and Aleksandar Kolarov playing as wing backs. Raheem Sterling could be dropped here, with Leroy Sane and Kevin De Bruyne joining Sergio Aguero in the front three.
