The Athletic have reported that Chelsea are in talks with PSV over signing Madueke in the January transfer window.

Dutch giants PSV are reportedly willing to sell the 20-year-old winger who left Tottenham in 2018.

The England Under-21 international was on the books of Tottenham from 2014 until 2018 before making the move to the Netherlands to play for PSV.

Well-known and well-respected journalist Fabrizio Romano has reported on Twitter that Chelsea have made a verbal offer of €30 million (£26.61 million) for the young winger.

Interesting

It will be interesting to see how Noni Madueke does in the Premier League if he joins Chelsea.

The winger is only 20, so we should not expect him to hit the ground running at Stamford Bridge.

Tottenham will probably also be keeping an eye on the winger if he joins Chelsea.

After all, Madueke is a former Tottenham youth prospect, and the North London club will probably be keen to see how he fares in the Premier League.

The winger has made one start and three substitute appearances in the Eredivisie and has made one start and two substitute appearances in the UEFA Europa League for PSV so far this eason.
