Here is the latest transfer news coming out of Stamford Bridge including a surprise link to a Manchester City attacker and an update on the future of Romelu Lukaku.

Romelu Lukaku

Beginning our update with the outs and there has been a significant update on the future of Belgian striker Romelu Lukaku, who spent last season on loan at AS Roma.

HITC understands that new Napoli boss Antonio Conte is keen on reuniting with the forward who he managed during the Italian’s time at Inter Milan.

Chelsea are understood to want the £38 million release clause before allowing Lukaku to leave and it is yet unclear if Napoli could afford this.

The Belgian enjoyed a fruitful time at the San Siro under Conte as he netted 47 Serie A goals across two seasons for the Italian giants and a reunion could be on the cards.

Dominic Calvert-Lewin

A new striker looks set to be high on the list of priorities this summer and it appears that Everton striker Dominic Calvert-Lewin, could be a target.

HITC have previously reported that Eddie Howe’s Newcastle United are keen on the Englishman as they eye a new striker to provide competition for Alexander Isak.

Now, a report from the Daily Mail has thrown the Blues in the mix with the English forward reportedly under consideration from those in West London.

Everton have reportedly offered the Englishman a new contract but some top Premier League clubs are assessing whether he would be worth a gamble.

Michael Olise

One name who has been heavily linked with a move away this summer is Michael Olise and a report from the Evening Standard has thrown Chelsea’s name into the mix.

Olise looked to be heading to Chelsea last summer before performing a dramatic 11th hour U-turn to sign a new contract at Crystal Palace.

The report states that, alongside Manchester United, the Blues are ready to enter the race and are confident that Olise would agree to a move to West London.

United are also in the race but the managerial uncertainty at Old Trafford means that any move may well have to wait, which could be a boost for Chelsea.

Tosin Adarabioyo

Chelsea look set to confirm the signing of Fulham defender Tosin Adarabioyo after the Englishman passed his medical at Stamford Bridge.

However, it has emerged that Erik ten Hag’s United attempted to hijack the deal over the weekend, according to a report from the Daily Mail.

United had reportedly put a contract offer on the table but the Englishman had already given his word to Maresca’s side. Adarabioyo looks set to be Maresca’s first signing at Stamford Bridge.
