Jesse Marsch’s Leeds United, Antonio Conte’s Tottenham Hotspur and Eddie Howe’s Newcastle United have missed out on the signing of Noni Madueke to Graham Potter’s Chelsea, according to 90min.
Leeds, Tottenham and Newcastle target Noni Madueke to join Chelsea
The report has claimed that Tottenham, Newcastle and Leeds all have shown interest in signing Madueke from PSV Eindhoven in the January transfer window.
However, it is former Premier League and UEFA Champions League winners Chelsea who are going to secure the services of the 20-year-old, who can operate as a winger or as an attacking midfielder.
90min have claimed that Chelsea have agreed a deal with PSV over the transfer of Madueke this month.
The England Under-21 international, who was in the Tottenham academy from 2014 until 2018, ‘is now in London to undergo his medical checks before putting pen-to-paper’.

Madueke has already agreed a long-term deal with Chelsea, as co-owner Todd Boehly appears to have made the sixth signing of the January transfer window after Mykhailo Mudryk, Benoit Badiashile, Andrey Santos, David Datro Fofana and Joao Felix.
According to The Times, Chelsea will pay PSV £30 million in transfer fees for Madueke.
Stats
Noni Madueke has made two starts and three substitute appearances in the Eredivisie for PSV so far this season, scoring one goal in the process.
The English youngster has made one start and two UEFA Europa League substitute appearances for the Dutch club this campaign.
