AC Milan are reportedly targeting Fernando Torres as a replacement for Mario Balotelli.
Balotelli has sealed a £16 million move to Liverpool, which leaves Milan with a hole in their attack.
Torres is currently the third choice striker at the Blues behind Diego Costa and Didier Drogba.
Reports also suggest that Chelsea are in talks over a deal for Roma forward Mattia Destro.
Destro’s arrival at the club would push Torres even further down the pecking order in the Blues’ attack.
Destro has been consistently linked with a move to Stamford Bridge over the last week and a half.
Former Chelsea striker Samuel Eto’o is close to securing a move to the Blues’ Premier League rivals Everton.
Eto’o did a decent job during his time at Stamford Bridge, with Jose Mourinho often commenting on his restrictions due to age.
He’s expected to sign a two-year contract to play under Spaniard Roberto Martinez.
