Unai Emery’s Aston Villa and Erik ten Hag’s Manchester United could reportedly miss out on the signing of Inter Milan goalkeeper Andre Onana to Chelsea in the summer transfer window.
Chelsea lead race for Manchester United and Aston Villa target Andre Onana
SempreInter have reported that Chelsea are leading Manchester United and Barcelona in the race for Inter goalkeeper Onana.
Inter have reportedly told Chelsea that they want as much as €40 million (£35 million) in transfer fees for the 27-year-old Cameroonian goalkeeper.
Chelsea are the club who have shown the most interest in Onana.
Ten Hag worked with Onana at Ajax and is keen for United to bring him to Old Trafford in the summer of 2023.

CM reported last week that impending new Chelsea head coach Mauricio Pochettino has personally approved the signing of Onana in the summer transfer window.
Villa have also been linked with Onana.
CMW reported in March that Villa are looking at the former Ajax star as a potential replacement for Emiliano Martinez.
The Villans could reportedly bid €28 million (£25 million) for the 27-year-old.
HITC Verdict: Summer transfer possible
In our view, that Inter Milan have already placed a price-tag on Andre Onana suggests that Chelsea, Manchester United or Aston Villa could sign the goalkeeper.
Now, of course, £35 million is not a massive transfer fee, and we believe that Chelsea, United and Villa could pay that.
It could eventually come down to which club Onana himself wants to play for next season and beyond.
