A round up of Chelsea’s summer transfer news with new manager Enzo Maresca set to be backed in the transfer window.
Following Mauricio Pochettino’s sacking at Chelsea, former Leicester City manager Enzo Maresca, who guided the Foxes back to the Premier League at the first time of asking, was the man chosen to replace the former Tottenham Hotspur boss.
With a new manager at the helm, it could be a summer of upheaval at Stamford Bridge. Here are the names who have been linked to the club over the last week.

Tosin Adarabioyo
Starting off with a name who looks set to be Chelsea’s first summer signing of the window and that is Fulham defender Tosin Adarabioyo.
With the former Manchester City defender set to depart Craven Cottage upon the expiry of his contract, the 26-year-old had a choice between Chelsea, Manchester United and Newcastle United.
HITC has reported that Chelsea are closing in on a deal to sign the English defender on a free transfer. The Red Devils were keen but the uncertainty over Erik ten Hag’s future meant the deal stalled.
Chelsea look set to win the race for the 26-year-old.
Benjamin Sesko
As it seems to be the case pretty much every summer, the Blues head into another transfer window looking for a young, exciting centre-forward to lead the line at Stamford Bridge.
The current flavour of month is RB Leipig’s Slovenian forward Benjamin Sesko. A report from The Athletic has stated that Chelsea are interested in the 22-year-old.
HITC have reported that Arsenal are also one of the teams interested but The Athletic claim that Chelsea are also keen with Sesko’s agent having visited West London recently.
Pedro Lima
Another name who has been linked with a move to West London, via the same report from The Athletic, is 17-year-old Brazilian defender Pedro Lima.
Chelsea certainly seem keen to once again scour the South American market and try and add any promising teenagers to their first team squad and Lima could well be the next name on this list.
Lima, who currently plays for Sport Recife in his homeland, is a right-back who loves to get forward and has been compared to Cafu. Whether he will live up to the hype remains to be seen.
Alphonso Davies
Last on the list of players who have been linked with a move to Chelsea is Canadian left-back Alphonso Davies, who is in the final 12 months of his contract at Bayern Munich.
With Vincent Kompany taking over from Thomas Tuchel in Bavaria, a rebuild could be set to take place for the German giants. Davies has been an everpresent since his move to the club from Vancouver Whitecaps but his contract is expiring soon.
HITC have reported that Chelsea and Manchester City are interested in signing the defender but his preference is a move to Real Madrid. However, it is yet unclear if the Spanish giants will meet the price set by Bayern to sign him this summer and this could lead to the two English sides entering the race properly.
