Sean Dyche’s Everton are now being linked with Chelsea winger Callum Hudson-Odoi.

According to 90min, Everton are among the clubs who are interested in signing Callum Hudson-Odoi from Chelsea in the summer transfer window.

Fulham and Nottingham Forest are the other clubs in the Premier League who want to secure the services of Hudson-Odoi.

Chelsea have reportedly told the £120,000-a-week (Spotrac) winger that he is free to leave in the summer of 2023.

The 22-year-old England international winger is under contract at Chelsea until the end of next season.

Chelsea winger Callum Hudson-Odoi would be a smart signing for Everton

We believe that Callum Hudson-Odoi would be a very good signing for Everton in the summer transfer window, not just for now but for years to come as well.

The winger is only 22 and is still developing and progressing as a player.

Hudson-Odoi has experience playing in the Premier League with Chelsea and with Bayer Leverkusen in the Bundesliga (on loan).

Not many young players can succeed at Chelsea, so we should judge Hudson-Odoi too harshly based on his failure to make himself a regular in the Blues’ first team over the years.

Bayern Munich were linked with the winger not so long ago.

It shows how highly Hudson-Odoi is rated in the footballing community.

If Chelsea are willing to cash in on the winger with 12 months left on his contract, then it is likely that Everton will not have to pay a lot of transfer fees for him.

Now, whether Everton can convince Hudson-Odoi to move to Goodison Park this summer remains to be seen.

During his loan spell at Bayer last season, the winger made seven starts and seven substitute appearances in the Bundesliga and played two minutes in the UEFA Europa League.
