Chelsea have defeated Swansea City at Stamford Bridge thanks to a deflected Hazard strike.
Chelsea have beaten Swansea City at home in a conservative but professional performance. Chelsea went into the game hoping to keep up pressure at the top of the table – with Liverpool playing later in the day.
Swansea seemed to struggle to get a foothold on the game as Ashley Williams continually denied Chelsea attacks entering the box.
But then Williams made a mistake. Eden Hazard hammered a shot at goal from 20 yards out which seemed to be sailing straight into the hands of Gerhard Tremmel – but Williams tried to clear the ball, missed, and it crept beyond the goalkeeper.
