Blues goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois says he will make a decision on his future next week.
Courtois is currently at Atletico Madrid, where he is enjoying his third loan spell at the club. The Belgian has never featured for his parent club Chelsea since joining them from Genk almost three years ago.
The 21-year old is yet to muscle long-term goalkeeper Petr Cech out of the Chelsea first team, and has instead pursued time in Spain for regular football.
But Courtois says he will now announce next week whether he will stay with Chelsea or with the La Liga leaders.
“Next week I will announce my decision,” he said.
“I am not going to say if I will stay or not.
“What I will say is that next week I will announce my decision.”
The goalkeeper’s comments come as Chelsea were beaten 3-1 by Paris Saint-Germain in their Champions League quarter-final first leg.
While his parent club suffered defeat, Courtois helped Atletico to a 1-1 draw with Barcelona at the Nou Camp on Tuesday night.
