With Newcastle United linked with a host of goalkeepers, and Asmir Begovic moving to AFC Bournemouth, Karl Darlow could be the man for Chelsea.

Newcastle United goalkeeper Karl Darlow looks set to leave St James’ Park as the club continue to be linked with potential replacements.
Darlow enjoyed a fine campaign as Rafa Benitez’s side won the Championship, but he was twice dropped – for Matz Sels and Rob Elliot – and ended the season on the bench.

And the 26-year-old’s future has been cast into further doubt as The Times are reporting Newcastle’s interest in soon-to-be free agent Willy Caballero, following claims in the Mirror that they are chasing Napoli’s Pepe Reina.
Either move could spell the end for Darlow on Tyneside, but he is likely to have plenty of suitors after such a fine season.
One option could and should be Chelsea, who saw Asmir Begovic – Thibaut Courtois’ understudy – depart to AFC Bournemouth last month.

The Mirror linked Antonio Conte with a swoop for Darlow earlier in the year, as Begovic sought a move away from Stamford Bridge, and the Premier League champions are sure to be keeping an eye on the Newcastle keeper’s developing situation.
David Stockdale, an established starter at Brighton and Hove Albion, has been suggested as an alternative signing for Chelsea – reported by The Sun – but Conte might have more joy convincing Darlow to forego first-team football.
