Tottenham Hotspur striker Fernando Llorente is reportedly in demand in the January transfer window.

The Blues are looking to sign a striker with Michy Batshuayi most likely moving out of Stamford Bridge on loan. The Belgian is not trusted by Antonio Conte, and he would sanction his exit in the January transfer window.

Chelsea considered the option of signing Andy Carroll from West Ham, but with the England striker picking up an ankle injury and likely to be sidelined for a while, the Blues have shifted their attention towards Llorente.
The Italian wanted to sign the Spanish striker in the summer, but he ended up joining Spurs on the deadline day.
The Independent reports that Conte is willing to rekindle their interest in Llorente, and wants the 32-year-old to join him at Stamford Bridge.

Llorente has only scored twice in 22 appearances for Spurs, but most of those have been as a substitute. He would prove to be a cheaper alternative to Carroll, and his experience would come in handy for Conte’s side.
Secondly, Conte has previously worked with him at Juventus, where Llorente acted as a mentor of Alvaro Morata, whose form has dipped in recent weeks.
In theory, he would be a perfect signing for Chelsea, but whether Spurs would sell a player to their direct rival in January is another question.
