Chelsea have reportedly joined Liverpool and Manchester United in the race for RB Leipzig striker Timo Werner.
Last Sunday, The Express reported of interest in Werner from Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool and Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s United.
It was reported that the Reds and the Red Devils will have to wait until the summer of 2020 to secure the services of the 23-year-old striker.
The Sun has now claimed that Chelsea are looking into the possibility of landing the Germany international in the January transfer window.
It has been reported by the British tabloid that the Blues are confident of having their transfer ban lifted, with manager Frank Lampard eyeing Bournemouth star Callum Wilson and RB Leipzig ace Timo Werner as back-up to Tammy Abraham.
