Thomas Tuchel’s Chelsea are ready to sell Jorginho, according to 90min, and that could be of interest to Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal.
90min are reporting this morning that Chelsea are ready to allow Jorginho to leave Stamford Bridge in the summer transfer window.
The 30-year-old Italy international is out of contract in 2023, and the Premier League club are reportedly willing to offload him now.
And it could be of interest to Arsenal.
Arsenal’s previous interest in Chelsea’s Jorginho
Sky Sports reported in October 2020 interest from Arsenal in Jorginho.
Arsenal eventually signed Thomas Partey from Atletico Madrid for £45 million in October 2020, but the Ghana international defensive midfielder has been linked with a move away from the Emirates Stadium this summer.

Tuttomercatoweb reported this week that Juventus are interested in signing Partey, and that a potential exchange deal involving Arthur Melo could happen.
Coup
Yes, Melo is a good player, but Jorginho is a more accomplished midfielder who has been a success in the Premier League and is based in London.
The 30-year-old is at the top of his game now and would be able to make an immediate impact at the Emirates Stadium.
Signing a player of the calibre of Jorginho who has won the UEFA Champions League, the UEFA Europa League and the UEFA European Championship with Italy would be a statement from Arsenal.
