Raheem Sterling has praised Chelsea striker Armando Broja as the ‘fastest man in the world’ amid interest from Newcastle United.
The Blues have seen a few youth products become first-team players at Stamford Bridge.
Reece James and Mason Mount spring to mind but you can’t forget about Trevoh Chalobah or Ruben Loftus-Cheek.
Then there is Armando Broja, with the striker now featuring in Graham Potter’s first team after spending last season on loan at Southampton.

Raheem Sterling has praised Armando Broja
Broja started Chelsea’s last game before the World Cup break, featuring up top in the 1-0 defeat at Newcastle United.
The Albanian international will hope to keep his place in the Chelsea side after the World Cup ends.
Yet if Broja goes back to being on the bench again, you can be sure that Premier League rivals will be right in there trying to sign him.
CBS Sports reporter Ben Jacobs claimed earlier this that Everton and Newcastle are still monitoring Broja’s situation.
Both clubs were heavily linked with Broja over the summer but neither ended up signing him.
Everton signed Neal Maupay from Brighton and Hove Albion whilst Newcastle United spent big on Alexander Isak.
Both clubs ultimately decided to go with permanent signings rather than taking Broja on loan but they understandably remain keen on the 21-year-old.
Broja has now earned some unexpected praise from Chelsea teammate Raheem Sterling.
UMM have posted a preview of Sterling’s chat with Ian Wright, which comes out later today.
Sterling was asked whether he is the fastest player at Chelsea but the England international quickly said no – and claims it’s actually Broja.
Sterling claims that Broja is the ‘fastest man in the world’ and having barely seen Broja before joining Chelsea, now thinks the striker is ‘the truth’.
“Fastest man in the world,” said Sterling. “When people see him properly… yeah. I’ve heard a lot about him before but never really watched him. He’s the truth,” he added.
