According to The Chelsea Chronicle, the Blues are looking to bring Real Madrid forward Endrick to Stamford Bridge in January, giving him an opportunity to revive his career in England.

Endrick made the move from Palmeiras to Real Madrid in 2024 for a fee close to £50million, joining with plenty of hype after turning down offers from both Chelsea and Paris Saint-Germain at the time.

But things haven’t worked out as hoped for him in Spain so far.

Newly appointed Xabi Alonso has reportedly decided that Endrick is free to go, with the club considering a loan move. There’s also some feeling within the club that it might be time for a permanent split.

Chelsea set to pursue Endrick

Several clubs have been in touch, and there are indications that Lyon are looking to secure a loan deal for the striker until the end of the season.

But The Chelsea Chronicle has learned that Chelsea, who have long been admirers of Endrick, have been keeping a close eye on his situation. They now believe he could be a valuable addition and are prepared to make their move.

Endrick is also said to be keen on linking up with Estevao again. The two players developed a strong friendship during their time together at Palmeiras’ academy.

Our transfer insider Graeme Bailey reported: “I’ve heard that Chelsea have been monitoring Endrick’s situation for weeks and are now ready to give him the chance to restart his career in West London.

“Chelsea look like they could use another forward in January, and I’m hearing that they see him as someone who could fit right in,” Bailey added. “There are people at Real who still think he has potential, but others believe it’s time for him to move on. We’ll see how things develop, but I wouldn’t be surprised if Endrick ends up at Stamford Bridge next month.”

Chelsea considering another forward option

Liam Delap’s long-term injury early in the season left Chelsea short up top, and they’ve been dealing with the consequences ever since.

Joao Pedro has spent most of the season filling in, and despite being named in the Team of the Season so far, his best work often comes when he’s playing off a central striker.

The club have already secured Emanuel Emegha for next season, but they’re still looking to add depth now if the right opportunity comes up. Endrick fits that profile perfectly.

Estevao Willian’s strong start at Stamford Bridge has shown how valuable it can be to back young Brazilian talent early, and Endrick could follow a similar path.
