Chelsea fans should be very confident of success over the next couple of months and the rest of the season.
Chelsea have been one of the most impressive teams in Europe so far this season; comfortable at the top of the Premier League table and looking good for a place in the last 16 of the Champions League.
Here are our predictions for the club’s next five games, their January position and their position at the end of the season.
Chelsea’s Next Five Games
When the international break is over, Chelsea face back-to-back Premier League games against West Brom and Sunderland with a Champions League trip to FC Schalke in between. Blues fans should be confident of wins in all three games.
The start of December looks much more difficult as Tottenham visit Stamford Bridge before a trip to Newcastle United in the Premier League. Jose Mourinho’s side should be confident of four points from those two games.
January Position
It’s difficult to see how Chelsea could be anywhere other than first in the Premier League, which will dictate the club’s winter spending.
Don’t expect Mourinho to add to the squad unless he’s suffering a bad injury crisis.
End of Season Prediction
Chelsea are one of the first sides to be made odds on favourites with the bookies for the Premier League title before the end of November.
Premier League: Winners
League Cup: Winners
FA Cup: Semi-finals
Champions League: Semi-finals
