Chelsea co-owner Todd Boehly has now met Neymar’s entourage to discuss a transfer for the Paris Saint-Germain star. He has also been offered to Liverpool and Newcastle United.

That is according to Foot Mercato, which reports Boehly has met with Neymar’s camp over recent days. The Stamford Bridge chief is a huge admirer of the 31-year-old and is eager to coax him to the Premier League. Boehly has also met with PSG to sound out his availability.

Boehly spoke with Paris Saint-Germain president Nasser Al-Khelaifi recently and discussed Neymar’s situation. He learned that the Ligue 1 giants’ chief objective for the next summer market is to sell the Brazilian. Neymar’s lucrative wage has placed him in the shop window.

Paris Saint-Germain fear Financial Fair Play will limit their transfer activity without clearing his £810k-a-week salary from their books. But there is no clear path for Neymar to leave Le Parc des Princes. So, Boehly has now discussed several avenues with the forward’s camp.

Boehly and the 124-cap Selecao legend’s entourage have debated his potential transfer at the end of the season. Yet they also discussed Neymar potentially seeking to mutually end his contract with Les Parisiens. The forward’s deal in the French capital runs to June 2027.

Chelsea seek Neymar’s transfer as Liverpool and Newcastle are offered the PSG star

A transfer to the Premier League would appeal to Neymar if a club can agree to terms with Paris Saint-Germain. That is according to 90min, which has also reported that agents of the winger have also reached out to several English top-flight teams to sound out any interest.

Among the sides Neymar’s representatives have contacted include Chelsea plus Liverpool, Manchester City, Manchester United and Newcastle to offer the Paris Saint-Germain star’s transfer. He cost Les Parisiens £200m to sign from Barcelona in 2017 but could now leave.

Neymar has produced an impressive season on a personal level so far this term. The Mogi das Cruzes-born dynamo, who Danny Murphy calls ‘really special’, has scored 17 goals and laid on 16 assists. He has also featured in 28 of their 34 games across all competitions.
