ESPN have reported that Chelsea have now entered the race to sign Liverpool-linked striker Randal Kolo Muani.

Sky Germany have recently reported that Kolo Muani decided not to join Jurgen Klopp’s side in January as he feels at ease at Eintracht Frankfurt currently.

Unfortunately for Liverpool, a player like the £88 million-rated goalscorer would have a perfect addition to the side in the January transfer window.

However, it seems that Todd Boehly is keen on the arrival of Randal Kolo Muani to Chelsea.

This season, a part of the reason why Liverpool and their form has fallen off a cliff is due to Darwin Nunez having a nightmare of a debut campaign in the Premier League.

So far, Nunez has missed a shocking 15 big chances in the Premier League (as per the official website), which is the highest out of any player in the division.

Keeping that in mind, Kolo Muani, who Thierry Henry compared to Nwankwo Kanu could have done wonders in a Liverpool shirt, if the transfer came to fruition.

But now it seems a familiar foe are ready to battle them for their reported transfer target.

As per a new report by ESPN, Chelsea are now keen on signing Liverpool-linked Randal Kolo Muani, who is ‘attracting interest’ froma number of Premier League clubs.

However, it has once again been clarified that Kolo Muani has no interest in leaving Eintracht Frankfurt in January.

The reason stated is that the French forward plans to finish the season with Frankfurt, before assessing the options at his disposal in the summer.

The Reds need to get their act together first to have any chance of landing Kolo Muani

The natural instinct amongst most fans is set to be that Chelsea could blow Liverpool out of the water from a financial sense in their pursuit to sign Randal Kolo Muani.

Granted but the Reds must also get their act together, both on the pitch and from a recruitment sense to tempt Kolo Muani into signing on the dotted line.

Whatever said and done by Chelsea, Todd Boehly is as ambitious as they come when it comes to owners in the game, which cannot be said about FSG at Liverpool.
