Chelsea host Leicester City at Stamford Bridge in Saturday’s early kick-off.

This weekend sees the return of the Premier League after the second international break of the campaign, and the first game of the weekend Chelsea hosting champions Leicester City in the weekend’s early kickoff.
Both sides have had mixed starts to the campaign, sitting seventh and 12th in the table respectively.
The two were part of one of the biggest deals of the summer transfer window as midfielder N’Golo Kante departed the King Power Stadium in a big-money move to London.
Last season he was a key part of the Foxes astonishing title-winning campaign, forming a superb partnership with Danny Drinkwater in the heart of their midfield.

So how do the two players compare so far this season? We took a look at their stats.
As it transpires there is nothing between the two as they both came out on top in four of eight key areas apiece.
Drinkwater has largely been better defensively, posting more won tackles and ball recoveries as well as winning possession in midfield more often.

Kante comes out on top in terms of interceptions, though, with 14 to his name compared to the Foxes stars score of nine.
The Chelsea man has also been better for accurate passes, 411 compared to 368, as well as surprisingly registering more successful final-third passes.
The Leicester City man has however been the most creative, posting five key passes compared to Kante’s four.
It is the latter that enjoys the better passing accuracy overall, though, with his impressive tally of 91% beating Drinkwater’s more modest score of 79%.
