Chelsea play host to Tottenham Hotspur in the 17:30 Premier League kick-off on Saturday.

Chelsea legend Pat Nevin has backed his former side to beat Spurs on Saturday, with help from what he calls their superior home support, when writing his column for the club’s official website.
The Blues have been on a fine run of form of late, and have won six consecutive games in the Premier League since their 3-0 defeat to Arsenal in September – all without conceding a goal.
And Nevin, who made 241 appearances for Chelsea, raved about the club’s home support this season, highlighting how they will help his former side to victory over their London rivals on Saturday, when writing his column for chelseafc.com:
“It is often said that the atmosphere in Premier League games in general isn’t always what it should be. That does not however seem to be the case at Chelsea right now. This season has witnessed a massive increase in noise levels and you have to say that the passion of Antonio Conte must have a lot to do with it. This weekend at home I expect to experience one of the best atmospheres at any game of the season.”

Tottenham face Monaco tonight in the Champions League, so from a sharpness perspective, Chelsea should hold a slight advantage.
Saturday’s match is of huge importance for both sides, and represents a fantastic opportunity for Antonio Conte’s men to stretch their lead over Spurs to seven points, while the away side will be looking to cut the gap to just one point with an away win.
The game kicks off at 17:30 on Saturday evening and can be seen live on BT Sport.
