Chelsea are starting to benefit from their recent summer transfer activity, with several new signings making an impact on the first-team squad.
Estevao Willian has been the standout so far, showing early signs that he could become one of the squad’s top players in the near future.
There have been other notable additions as well. Joao Pedro was named in November’s Team of the Month, and Alejandro Garnacho is beginning to quieten some of his critics at Stamford Bridge.
Liam Delap and Jamie Gittens were also added to bolster the attack, but it would be a surprise if Chelsea stayed out of major transfer headlines when the January window opens.

Antoine Semenyo could be a target for Chelsea in the January transfer window
One possible move involves Bournemouth’s Antoine Semenyo, who has put together a strong campaign so far with six goals and three assists.
Semenyo has drawn interest from several top Premier League sides, and Mark Ogden told ‘The Football Reporters’ that he could see Chelsea triggering the winger’s £65m release clause.
“Now, they are pretty overloaded with forwards, but I wouldn’t rule out Chelsea moving for a forward. I mean, I wouldn’t rule them out of the Antoine Semenyo situation. He’s got a £65 million release clause at Bournemouth.
“I don’t think Chelsea are the frontrunners, I think you’re looking at Man City and Liverpool, but Chelsea know a deal can be done and they could get it done.”
Semenyo deal may not be the right fit for Chelsea
Chelsea are already well-stocked in the wide areas, so it would be surprising to see them spend heavily on another winger.
Continuing their focus on young talent, Chelsea recently moved ahead of Manchester United to secure Geovany Quenda.
Quenda is set to arrive at the end of the campaign, with plans to use him as a winger despite his background as a wing-back.
Semenyo has had a strong season so far and will be looking to make an impact when Bournemouth face Chelsea at the Vitality Stadium this weekend.
