Chelsea are now reportedly interested in bringing Dusan Vlahovic to Stamford Bridge.

According to The Daily Mail, Chelsea are now willing to do a deal with Juventus for Dusan Vlahovic in the summer transfer window.

Juventus want to sign Romelu Lukaku from Chelsea and have offered the Premier League club Vlahovic to sweeten the deal.

Chelsea are open to the idea of a swap deal.

The Daily Mail has reported that although “Vlahovic’s wages have previously been considered a stumbling block”, Chelsea are now willing to pay between £21.5 million and £38.5 million to sign the Serbia international striker and let Lukaku go to Juventus.

Chelsea have now reportedly changed their mind over the striker.

Vlahovic, who is “lightning” and whose “left foot is like a wand”, according to former Manchester City and Fiorentina defender Micah Richards on BBC Radio 5 Live in December 2021, earns £215,000 per week as salary (SalarySport) at Juventus.

Dusan Vlahovic – Romelu Lukaku swap deal ideal for Chelsea

In our opinion, if Chelsea want to get rid of Romelu Lukaku and they are getting Dusan Vlahovic in a swap deal with Juventus, then they should go for it.

Vlahovic is just 23 now and will get better in the coming years.

There has been speculation that Chelsea head coach Mauricio Pochettino personally wants the Serbia star and considers him the ideal striker for his team.

Although the striker did not have the best of times at Juventus last season, we have to consider that the Turin club as a team had a bad campaign.

Vlahovic scored 10 goals and gave two assists in 22 Serie A starts for Juventus last season.

During the 2021-22 campaign, the striker scored 17 goals and provided two assists in 21 Serie A matches for Fiorentina, and scored seven goals and provided one assist in 12 Serie A starts for Juve.
