Bakayoko’s time in English football so far has been miserable, ever since he moved to Stamford Bridge in a £40 million transfer (Daily Express).
And that would explain the reaction from Chelsea fans to hearing the French midfielder being linked to Everton.
Despite struggling at Chelsea, Bakayoko has had more success abroad.
The energetic midfielder has shown quality with both Monaco and AC Milan, and Everton would be looking to get him back to his best, if he did sign for Silva’s side this summer.
