Kurt Zouma joined Everton on loan last August and has impressed.
It looks like Chelsea fans are keen to have Everton loanee Kurt Zouma back this summer.
According to The Echo, the West London side want Zouma to be included in their pre-season training in preparation for the 2019-20 campaign.
The 24-year-old French defender has been a revelation since joining Everton on a season-long loan last August.
And many fans of the Goodison Park club would have loved to see a permanent deal get thrashed out between both sides this summer.
But it looks, at the moment, like his future is still at Stamford Bridge, and Chelsea supporters seem pleased:
Signing Zouma up in the long term was always going to be difficult if he impressed on Merseyside.
From Chelsea’s perspective, why would they sell to a rival English club if they too are in need of the qualities which Zouma possesss in spades?
He is quick, strong and reads the game exceptionally well. He has the makings of a superb centre-back. Everton have taken him to a new level and now it’s Maurizio Sarri’s job to continue that development.
