Former Chelsea defender Nathan Ake played well for Bournemouth against Southampton.

Chelsea fans have taken to Twitter to give their reaction to the performance of Nathan Ake for Bournemouth against Southampton.
Ake was in action for Bournemouth in their Premier League game against Southampton away from home at St. Mary’s Stadium on Friday evening.
The 24-year-old defender started the match and played for the entire 90 minutes, as the Cherries won 3-1.
The former Chelsea man played well, as he scored a goal in the 10th minute and was strong at the back.
According to WhoScored, Ake had a pass accuracy of 74.2%, won two headers, and made one tackle and two clearances.
The 24-year-old came through the Chelsea academy, but the Netherlands international defender failed to establish himself in the Blues’ first team and made a handful of appearances for the first team.
After a loan spell at Bournemouth, Ake joined the Cherries on a permanent contract from Chelsea in 2017 for a transfer fee reported by The Guardian to be worth £20 million.
Chelsea fans were impressed with the performance of Ake for Bournemouth against Southampton and have praised him on Twitter.
