Mason Mount did not play well for Chelsea against Newcastle United on Saturday.
Chelsea fans have taken to Twitter to give their reaction to the performance of Mason Mount against Newcastle United.
Mount was in action for Chelsea in their Premier League game against Newcastle at Stamford Bridge in London on Saturday afternoon.
The 20-year-old midfielder started the match and played for 64 minutes, as the Blues won 1-0.
The former Derby County loanee has been playing well for the Blues this season and has established himself as an important player in manager Frank Lampard’s side, but against Newcastle on Saturday afternoon, the youngster struggled and did not have a good game.
Mount did not have much space to weave his magic against Newcastle and failed to do much of note before he was substituted.
According to WhoScored, the England international took one shot which was on target, played one key pass, had a pass accuracy of 87.5%, won one header, and took 33 touches.
Chelsea fans were not impressed with the display produced by Mount and have criticised him on Twitter.
