There is real excitement building about the current crop of Chelsea youngsters, and Guehi looks like he could be one of the next in line to earn a call-up to Frank Lampard’s senior side.
Lampard has already shown a willingness to trust in youth, so if Guehi does continue to impress then there is a pathway for him into Chelsea’s team.
Guehi has already made his senior debut for the Blues this season, after being handed a chance in the EFL Cup against Grimsby Town, and if he keeps up his current performance levels then Lampard may look to give him more first-team chances before the campaign finishes.
