Chelsea fans react as Liverpool ace wins prestigious award.

Liverpool sensation Mohamed Salah has won the PFA Player of the Year Award.
Salah was honoured at a ceremony last night, beating off competition from Manchester City’s Kevin De Bruyne.

Salah has scored 31 goals this season already for Liverpool and has a chance to still add to this tally.
The Egyptian’s rapid success has taken everybody aback by the sheer relentlessness of his form, especially Chelsea fans.
Chelsea signed Salah in 2014, but he struggled to hold down a spot, and he was then sent on two loans and then sold to Roma.
| Team | Goals | Assists | Appearances | |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Mohamed Salah | Liverpool | 31 | 9 | 33 |
| Mohamed Salah | Chelsea | 2 | 1 | 13 |
At Chelsea he barely got going, and the club’s demands for instant success and unwillingness to show patience with him is proving quite starkly to be a major error.
Liverpool are currently eight points of Chelsea in the league table, with Salah also firing the Reds into the Champions League semi-finals.
Chelsea fans have been trying to set aside the frustration of Salah’s unbelievable success this season, but it was a big topic of discussion on Twitter last night…
