Chelsea boss Frank Lampard fought off interest from Marco Silva and Everton to keep Kurt Zouma at Stamford Bridge over the summer.

Some Chelsea fans have slated Kurt Zouma’s performance for them in the Champions League against Lille last night.
Chelsea won 2-1 yesterday, with Zouma stepping into Frank Lampard’s starting line-up.
The Blues switched to a formation which incorporated three central defenders last night, with Zouma getting the nod to start again in Chelsea’s team.
However, the French defender did not cover himself in glory for the goal which Chelsea conceded.
Zouma was out jumped from a corner as Lille hit an equaliser and some members of Chelsea’s crowd were far from impressed by his defending, with many going as far as to say he should be sold.
If Chelsea are to sell Zouma then Everton look the most likely buyers.
Chelsea loaned out Zouma to Goodison Park last season, and he has been badly missed by Marco Silva’s side already this term.
Zouma looks likely to drop back to Chelsea’s bench at the weekend, when they take on Southampton in the Premier League.
