Chelsea fans have had a mixed reaction to Frank Lampard’s comments on Willian, after their victory over Wolverhampton Wanderers.
Willian was given his first Chelsea start of the season at the weekend, as the Blues picked up a hugely impressive victory at Molineux.
Chelsea were at their destructive best against Wolves, as their youngsters took centre stage in a 5-2 victory.
Willian’s performance on the flank was also important to Lampard’s side though.
The Brazilian provided Chelsea with a great deal of energy and quality in forward positions, with Lampard very impressed with Willian.
The comments were not unanimously popular with Chelsea fans though, with Willian still a divisive figure at Stamford Bridge.
While some Chelsea fans think that Willian can contribute, there are some who feel that Lampard has other options who are preferable to the £30 million winger (BBC Sport).
Chelsea’s win over Wolves has left them sitting in sixth place in the Premier League table.
