Chelsea loaned Kurt Zouma out to Everton last season, and he really impressed for Marco Silva’s side.
Chelsea fans do not appear to have been very impressed by Everton target Kurt Zouma’s latest showing.
Everton have been tracking £30 million-rated Zouma all summer, as reported by BBC Sport, after the centre-back had a productive loan spell at Goodison Park last season.
It seems that Frank Lampard wants to keep the Frenchman for now, although Chelsea supporters have not been particularly impressed by his showings over pre-season.
Zouma started for Chelsea in their match against Reading at the weekend, which they won 4-3.
And some Chelsea supporters have slated the Everton man’s display in the contest.
Whether Lampard will be having second thoughts about keeping Zouma now remains to be seen.
Zouma, himself, has suggested that he wants regular football next season, which he certainly would get at Everton.
Zouma formed a solid partnership with Michael Keane with the Toffees last term, and if he doesn’t return to Merseyside, that will be a blow to Silva’s side.
