Leeds spell was not all it was cracked up to be.

Leeds United had high hopes for Lewis Baker when they made him their first summer signing.
The only people who wanted him to succeed more, were Chelsea supporters, who have long wished for Baker to start kicking on.
Baker was viewed as an outstanding talent back in 2014 after inspiring Chelsea to FA Youth Cup success. Jose Mourinho even tipped him to star for England.
Since then he has been on a series of loan spells, impressing in Holland with Vitesse, but failing badly.
There were hopes that famed Leeds boss Marcelo Bielsa could get the best out of him, but it hasn’t happened.

Baker played in only two Championship matches as a starter, and was subbed at half-time in both.
The Yorkshire Evening Post reported today that Chelsea have recalled Baker from his loan, but plan to send him straight back out, with Reading mooted as an option.
He has since been confirmed as a loanee at Reading, swapping first for 23rd in the Championship.

Baker is no closer to becoming a Chelsea success, and looks further away than ever.
