Chelsea target Hulk proved his worth tonight with a stunning long range goal against Borussia Dortmund.
The Zenit St. Petersburg man, 27, unleashed this unstoppable drive to give the Russian side a chance against the German giants, but despite winning the game 2-1, it wasn’t enough to send Andre Villas-Boas’ new side into the next round, as they went out 5-4 on aggregate.
The Brazilian, who made his name in Portugal with Porto, has recently been linked with moves to Chelsea and Tottenham, though the arrival of Villas-Boas – who famously managed both those sides, and managed Hulk at Porto – could put paid to their chances of securing a deal.
Regardless, Chelsea fans were understandably impressed with Hulk’s long range thunderbolt, and many supporters were crying out for Jose Mourinho to get Roman Abramovich’s cheque book out to sign Hulk – where he would fit into the team doesn’t seem to be important though, they just want him in the blue shirt and turning out at Stamford Bridge.
