Chelsea loanee Tammy Abraham will be hoping to fire Aston Villa to the Premier League in May.

It won’t be a surprise to hear that Chelsea supporters are seriously impressed and thrilled to see Aston Villa striker Tammy Abraham being named in the PFA’s Team of the Year.
The 21-year-old, who is on loan from Stamford Bridge, has been in scintillating form in the Championship this season and he will be hoping to guide his current club to promotion.
On Wednesday, the PFA confirmed on their official Twitter account that Abraham, along with teammate Jack Grealish, have been selected in the best team of the season – this team was chosen by players as supposed to the previous EFL Team of the Year which was chosen by managers.
Nonetheless, Abraham, who struggled during his previous loan spell at Swansea City in the Premier League last term, will be now hoping this current loan deal will help him make that step up into the Chelsea first team.
But before then, he is tasked with helping Dean Smith’s side make a return to England’s top-tier after a near three-year absence.
Here is a selection of Chelsea fans reacting on Twitter to Abraham making the PFA’s TOTY:
It has been an impressive season for Abraham at Villa Park, with the Chelsea youth product netting an impressive 25 Championship goals [transfermarkt] for his free-scoring side.
He would have learnt a lot from this campaign, playing under the pressures of a big club, in front of 40,000 and tasked with constantly performing at his best. Simply put, he has delivered.
