The Chelsea midfielder has become Leeds United’s first summer signing.

Chelsea fans are reacting on Twitter after Lewis Baker moved on loan to Leeds United.
The promising midfielder is due to spend the entire 2018/19 campaign with Marcelo Bielsa’s team, who according to reports could also sign another Blues academy product, Jamal Blackman.
Leeds are the fifth loan club of Baker’s career, after Sheffield Wednesday, Milton Keynes Dons, Vitesse Arnhem and Middlesbrough.
Yet despite a particularly impressive spell in Holland, and youth level success with England, Baker continues to be overlooked by Chelsea, for whom he has played since the age of nine.

And sending him to Leeds has not proved universally popular amongst the Stamford Bridge faithful.
This is what they’re saying…
And this is what Leeds fans can apparently expect…
Baker, who is due to turn 24 during his spell at Leeds, has another four years left on his Chelsea contract.
The attacking midfielder is known for his ambidexterity and set-piece taking ability.
Does the Leeds loanee deserve a proper chance at Chelsea?
